Picotte honors employees

For the last 16 years Picotte has taken time out to honor employees and thank them for their service and commitment to the company.

Hosted by John D. Picotte, chairman, and Michael B. Picotte, president, the 2010 luncheon attracted more than 60 employees. Held recently at Wolfert’s Roost Country Club, Menands, it recognized employees with five or more years of service. In addition, two employees received “Employee Recognition Awards.”

The Picotte Employee Recognition Program pays tribute to its employees who are outstanding and show exemplary effort. Employees nominated their co-workers for attention to customer service and satisfaction, cooperative nature, thoughtfulness and creativity.

The “2010 Employee Recognition Awards” were presented to Kevin Cavallaro, controller, and Artan Capollari, custodial crew chief.

About Kevin, his co-workers said:

“He is always reliable and dedicated to his job. He encourages his staff and has created a department with high standards.”

“He is a valuable member of the Picotte team.”

“He has expanded his staff’s interaction with other departments and strives to make our processes more efficient.”

“He has a lot to offer and appreciates new challenges and opportunities.”

Artan was singled out by his co-workers because:

“He is so helpful and always there when needed.”

“He works very hard and will do anything that is asked of him.”
